When we arrived to Arusha we stay in small hostel outside of city center (it was maybe 15 minutes walking) but the price was lower. As Milicka was staying there for 3 months in NGO organization so we spent 3 days meeting with her new colleagues, buying stuff which was needed for her, organizing our safari and just exploring city.
For Safari we choose package for 2 nights in tents (that tent was huge, with several sections like 2 beds, shower, European toilet and section with mirror and big wardrobe) including:
- Lake Manyara – Do you like elephants? Go there! We saw maybe 50 in total just walking around and enjoying themselves.
- Tarangire national park – Not very interesting place. You can skip it.
- Ngorongoro Crater – Out of these 3, this was the most interesting place because animals are trapped in crater which is about 20 km wide and living there in harmony. Many birds flying above your heads, thousands of wildebeests, hundreds of zebras and even we saw black rhino
