Israeli–Palestinian relationship is very controversial (to say it at least) and just visiting Palestine or Jerusalem show it all. It’s very easy to go to west bank if you are not Israeli citizen, just hop into a bus leaving from Jerusalem and you will be in Betlehem in 40 minutes. On your way there you will pass checkpoint but bus don’t even stop. When you leave a bus first think which you will spot is how different Palestine is compared do Israel. It’s much more middle easter with markets, smells, people and food.

Our obvious first stop in Betlehem was local market to see, what delicious food we could have for our lunch and decision to took half grilled chicken with 7 different side dishes was very wise one, it was fantastic. That give us a strength to go thru those famous places like church where Jesus was born, church where saint Maria was milking Jesus and so on. As it started to rain we took a coffee and walk around the famous wall between Palestine and Israel. Just ask locals where are the Benksi graffiti (as we did not manage to find them). There will be lot of taxi drivers offering a ride to the wall but it’s just 15 to 20 minutes walk so don’t bother with that.
