We visited many beaches on 5 different continents but this is always in our minds the best place to enjoy sun, sea, snorkelling or diving. I’m not joking is the BEST and let me explain why:
- In the Gili Islands you will not find anything with motor (no cars, no motorbikes, nothing)
- Islands are very small, I went to Gili Air and it was about 700m across so you can walk in 2 hours around the whole island
- Coral reef is starting 3 meters from beach and it’s 30 centimetres under the water so you just grab your snarling gear go to water and just watch all the fishes swimming around you. It’s like moving into different world in matter of seconds
- You can get there fantastic food, my personal best was pizzeria where you are sitting in swivel chairs or on pillows and you will get one of the best pizzas in your life made on wood (obviously).
Just go there and experience it yourself.
